We're on the lookout for a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Accounts Representative in Shipley, West Yorkshire.

As a Customer Accounts Representative, you will oversee credit billing cycles, manage exceptions, and ensure timely delivery of key performance indicators, updates, and contractual obligations. You will handle time-critical customer and meter data, addressing issues from start to finish with a commitment to first-time resolution (FTR). You will respond to customer and client interactions via various channels, identifying needs, promoting digital self-help, and enhancing overall customer experience. You will also escalate and log complaints, adhering to policies and timescales. As an ambassador of our team ethos, you will collaborate across the business for seamless resolutions to customer inquiries, proactively addressing feedback on social media. Additionally, you will support new team members by providing guidance and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Hours of Work: Full-Time

Customer Accounts Representative Requirements:
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite
  • Proficient in navigating social media platforms
  • Conflict resolution
  • Excellent communication both verbal and written with proven problem-solving skills
  • Able to prioritise in a multi-tasking environment
  • Ability to respond appropriately under pressure
  • Able to listen and show empathy
  • Excellent keyboard skills, ensuring accurate data entry Maintain thorough and accurate customer service records
  • Work collaboratively as part of a wider team
