Salary: £25,000 - £28,500 per annum

Due to internal progression, we are now hiring for a new Regional Service Delivery Team Leader to join our positive and supportive team in our Derby Office. 

Our role will engage across our UK wide Account Managers, management team and our board to provide/obtain information and reports on a regular and ad-hoc basis regarding operations team delivery. You will also be supervising and driving high performance of a small coordination team, providing feedback and reporting team strengths and weaknesses to the relevant Area Manager.

Your exciting new role will also deliver:

  • Partnering across Operations Coordinators to schedule works to required deadlines, ensuring effective utilisation / calendar management of our PPM team.
  • Support Area Managers in hiring, including interviewing and shortlisting.
  • Train new team members in line with company standards. 
  • Adhere to deadlines by communicating expectations to team members, setting goals, motivating team members, and disciplining where necessary.
  • Create unallocated reports and Engineer reporting.
  • Book Engineer parking and manage vehicles.
  • Ensure timely completion of Job processing (self completion or delegation). 
  • Assist managers with supervisory duties.
  • Flexible to provide assistance across operational requirements.

Requirements

Your career experience:

You’ll process prior experience leading a team within an operational or administrative role, able to build key working relationships and managing escalations. You will be comfortable engaging in a small team in a quiet office in a scenic area of Derby, able to utilise your customer relation, problem solving and team management skills.

Essential:

  • Previous supervisory and team leadership experience within an operational role.
  • Skills within a customer service delivery environment. 
  • Understanding of requirements for working in a high compliance organisation. 
  • Experience creating service delivery reports for senior management, including KPI and SLA reporting.
  • Continuous process improvement and experience working within a matrix organisation. 
  • Good IT knowledge, including experience with Google and Microsoft suite. 
  • Disclosure and Barring Service clearance (ability to pass a DBS check).

Desirable:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Water Hygiene industry knowledge or experience
  • NEBOSH or Health and Safety qualification
  • Legionella Risk awareness qualification

All roles at  SMS require a DBS check; SMS Environmental will cover the cost of this if you do not already hold a valid DBS certificate.
