Abatec is recruiting for an experienced site engineer to join a leading contractor on a freelance basis. The successful candidate will be working alongside our contractor, who is synonymous with delivering earthworks and infrastructure projects across the region.  

We are seeking a candidate with previous experience working with GPS, Total Station, and Quality Assurance (QA), as well as an extensive background in Civil Engineering. 

As a Site Engineer you will: 

  • Have experience in Civil Engineering schemes. 

  • Be the main source of technical advice and quality control for everyone working on site.  

  • Provide leveling and surveying across the site, checking drawings and quantities and ensuring the accuracy of calculations. 

  • Have experience with GPS machine guidance/control, total station, and QA. 

Our client requires a Site Engineer with: 

  • Valid CSCS and experience of robotic total stations, GPS, & QA. 

  • A good understating of construction health & safety protocols. 

  • Excellent communication skills. 

  • HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering. 

  • Understanding of AutoCAD 

Salary and benefits include: 

  • £300 - £350 CIS
