Location: Leeds (with national travel for future projects)
Salary: up to £55000 (Depending on experience) + on-site bonus + car allowance + benefits

I’m on the lookout for a strong team player with excellent communication skills to manage and oversee Health and Safety practices on live construction projects. Experience in construction and CDM 2015 is essential for this role.

You will be pivotal in ensuring that the operations comply with all HSE regulations and provide support to the end client, contractors and workers.

What will you be doing:

  • Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislations including the CDM 2015
  • Develop and maintain all relevant project documentation, including but not limited to CPP, emergency plan and fire risk assessment.
  • Coordinate the work activities of contractors through permit to work and on-site meetings.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents..
  • Manage and monitor the HSE Support.

Who am I looking for?

  • You will have experience within a Health & Safety Management role on a live construction site.
  • Driving licence.
  • Experience and working knowledge of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate.
  • Willing to work away from home (UK & Europe), varied shift patterns, 12-hour shifts.
  • Highly organised individual who manage their own time and give direction communicating clearly.
  • Excellent IT skills (Microsoft office).
  • Focused with good attention to detail and cool under pressure.
  • Able to react quickly and efficiently to changing demands and requirements.
