Specialising in the plastics manufacturing sector, this client offers a challenging role within a large, established business, producing well known products, supplying across the UK from their site in Runcorn.
As the Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be working within a small team of multi-skilled engineers who all work days shifts, and you will ideally have experience of fast paced manufacturing environments with an electrical bias, with sound mechanical knowledge.
What is on offer for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
- Up to 45k Package
- Days Shifts (09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday)
- Runcorn
- On call rota - once every 4 weeks (£100 per call out)
- Time off - 25 days + 8 bank holidays
- Standard Pension of 3% and 4%
Job Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fast paced engineering and manufacturing environments.
- Work in partnership with the Engineering Manager, production staff and technicians to carry out repairs to process equipment and plant machinery.
- Mechanical fault finding.
- Responding to break downs and reactive maintenance.
- Troubleshooting and practical fault finding on plant and mechanical/electrical machinery.
- Carry out planned inspection routes on process plant and proactive maintenance schedules.
- Following site H&S procedures and reporting any risks via the internal reporting process.
Person Requirements of Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
- Time served engineer, preferably from the Plastics/Food/FMCG Industry
- Recognised Engineering qualification e.g. HNC/HND/ONC/OND
- Accustomed to fast paced and challenging working environments
- Accustomed to multi skilled roles
