NPI Quality Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who would like to further their career in NPI Quality. Due to increased growth we are looking for an NPI Quality Engineer to strengthen the existing Quality Department.  You will play a pivotal role in the introduction of new products into the business.

What you will be doing:

  • Preparing control plans for NPI projects
  • Working to specific customer requirements and tolerances
  • Provide leadership and to develop a culture of defect prevention and waste elimination
  • Maintain Product Assurance systems ensuring Customer Specific Requirements are fulfilled ( IATF16949 and other specifics )
  • Using core quality tools & techniques and their application, typically: SPC, Ishikawa, Histograms, Pareto Charts, Scatter Diagrams, Stratification etc
  • Supporting the Internal manufacturing teams with regard to the timely resolution of Customer and Internal quality concerns.
  • Utilisation of Automotive Core tools such as APQP, PPAP, PFMEA processes.
  • Pro-actively visiting customer / supplier locations to resolve customer concerns and maintain high levels of customer liaison when required.

  • You will have experience on modern quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, PSW, Control plans, drawings, and 8D problem solving.
  • You will have an appetite for learning and growth.
  • You will be driven and have a positive mindset.
  • Educated to a minimum HNC level in an Engineering/Manufacturing discipline.
  • Quality Assurance Qualification IQA/CQI would be beneficial.
