Harron Homes is a Private Limited Company first incorporated in 1993, which builds premium residential properties in the private sector – from houses targeted at first-time buyers to luxury 5 bedroom family homes. Harron Homes unique house designs distinguish the company from its competitors.
The company has divisions in Yorkshire and the North Midlands, and a Head Office in Leeds.
Key Purpose of Role-Commercial Manager
To manage the delivery of site profitability for the company through procurement; cost planning and cost control, the delivery of effective valuations and concise reporting function, delivered on time and within budget. To manage, understand, implement and adhere to the company’s Health and Safety policy and strategy.
Key Duties / Responsibilities-Commercial Manager
- Increase Trade Contractor Base
- All-Risk’ Procurement
- Cost Management and Reporting
- Cost Control
Qualifications needed for the Commercial Manager
ONC, HNC (or equivalent) OR Qualified by experience.
HND or Degree Qualified (desirable).
Experience needed for the Commercial Manager
Construction industry experience – housing building environment.
Key knowledge and skills needed for the Commercial Manager
Strong communication and influencing skills.
Excellent level of numeracy and written communication skills.
Good IT skills and Coins knowledge will be advantageous.
Excellent at developing relationships.
Commercial awareness and good time management skills.
Excellent negotiation skills.
