HRA Recruitment Services are seeking a Bandsaw Operator for our client based in Birmingham.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor saw equipment to cut materials according to specifications
- Grind and weld materials as needed
- Perform basic mathematical calculations to ensure accurate measurements
- Utilise tooling to adjust and maintain saw equipment
- Fabricate and assemble components using sheet metal
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance
- Use hand tools effectively in the production process
Skills:
- Proficiency in operating saw machinery
- Ability to grind, weld, fabricate, and assemble materials
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
- Knowledge of tooling adjustments for equipment maintenance
- Experience working with sheet metal
- Competence in using hand tools effectively
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting machinery issues
