Manufacturing Engineer

The Opportunity:
 
This role would suit either an experienced Manufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer OR even a post grad with a couple of years Engineering experience seeking a Manufacturing Engineer's role.  You must also have experience within a CNC environment, and excellent communication and IT skills will be key as you will be required to assess processes for improvement, enhancement and cost effectiveness, and manage multiple projects within this core area of the business.

The Role:
  • To technically support production of high- quality product to customers’ requirements
  • To reduce process related scrap and rework
  • To implement and maintain best practice through all process engineering activities
  • Achieve cost effective production of components / Processes and qualifications
  • Program manage and execute engineering projects assignments
    Produce qualification reports and reports of scrap and rework analysis
Requirements:
  • Degree/HNC or equivalent in Engineering discipline - ideally Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Tooling design and/or CAD experience
  • Injection moulding and/or ceramics processing experience
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and ABS High level of computer literacy (Word/Excel/Project)
  • Ability to prepare and write reports.
  • Good judgment and decision making
  • Communication and Team working skills
  • Meticulous with good attention to detail

Working Hours:
Days only Mon – Fri 8-4
