Assistant Quality Controller

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Quality Controller for our client based in the Clay Cross area. This is a temporary to permanent, full time role
Duties -
-Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
•-Approve in-progress products and processes by confirming to specification, conducting visual and measurement tests, rejecting and returning unacceptable outputs for rework.
- Approve finished products by confirming to specification, conducting visual and measurement tests, rejecting and returning unacceptable products for rework
- Maintain records of results required by the organizations quality system.
- Conduct internal process audits to ensure conformity of QMS.
- Assist the Technical Quality Controller in all tasks related to the organizations Quality Management System and adherence to the ISO 9001 standard.
What we are looking for-
- Previous experience of working in a quality control/inspection role, ideally in an engineering/electronics environment
- Use of measuring equipment (e.g. verniers, etc)
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
