Prospero Teaching is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individual who is passionate and experienced in Sports Coaching. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone that has a love for Sports and who is considering a career in education and want to gain valuable experience.

As a PE Apprentice/Sports Coach, you will:

· Maintaining good order and behaviour thereby facilitating learning and safeguarding health and safety in school and authorised school activities elsewhere.
· Participating in whole school, departmental and pastoral and individual arrangements for her/his in-service training and professional development.
· Covering lessons and clubs when required.
· Supporting on away fixtures.
· Undertake a duty as published rotas.
· Taking part in scheduled meetings with colleagues and, if necessary, parents in accordance with the schools published calendar.
· Taking delegated responsibility for the implementation of the Health and Safety Act in accordance with the Schools and the LEAs Health and Safety Policy.
· Ensuring children are safe within school.
· To keep an up-to-date record of achievement in line with the expectations required of the Level 2 apprenticeship course.
· To assist the faculty in ensuring that office spaces, teaching areas and storage spaces remain neat and tidy.

Requirements as a PE Apprentice/Sports Coach:
· Have suitable educational qualifications and relevant experience.
· A knowledge of current educational issues especially in relation to pastoral care
· Have an excellent punctuality, attendance and health record.
· Be aware of the need to ensure children are safe within school.
