Job Title: Dual Skilled Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst.
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands.
Salary / Benefits £24k - £40k + Training + Benefits
Our client is a leading provider of asbestos management with a strong presence in the midlands region. They are now seeking to take on a Dual Skilled Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join established team. The successful candidate will be working on various sites including Local Authority, Social Housing, Educational, Retail, and Industrial sites. You will be able to demonstrate excellent understanding of the HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines, carrying out the full range of surveying and analytical works in line with agreed deadlines. For the successful candidate, our client can offer cross training into other environmental sectors, excellent company pension scheme, and generous holiday allowance.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: West Bromwich, Wolverhampton, Coventry, Royal Leamington Spa, Warwick, Worcester, Shrewsbury, Telford, Dudley, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Ludlow, Walsall, Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent, Burton Upon Trent, Lichfield, Coalville, Derby, Beeston, Nottingham, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Leicester, Market Harborough, Corby.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Must hold the BOHS P402, P403, P404 or RSPH equivalent qualifications.
" Will have experience working for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy ideally working as a surveyor / analyst.
" Confident using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
" Able to demonstrate practical knowledge of HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
The Role:
" Carrying out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
" Carrying out re-inspection surveys upon completion of work.
" Sampling of ACMs on site, ensuring to bag and label samples correctly prior to sending for analysis.
" 4 stage clearances.
" Smoke, leak, background, re-occupation, and personal air testing.
" Carrying out onsite audits.
" Working in line with HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
" Producing detailed reports based on site findings using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
