Job Title: Senior Ecologist

Location: Birmingham

Salary: Circa £35,000 per annum

My client, a multi-award winning environmental and engineering consultancy, is looking for an experienced individual to take on the role of Senior Ecologist in Birmingham. The ideal candidate for the role of Senior Ecologist would bring at least 5 years of experience within ecological consultancy to this role, to help provide ecological services across all aspects of the development cycle

Senior Ecologist Role and Responsibilities

Experience over all sides of ecological surveying and reporting, and knowledge of the whole biodiversity net gain process, will aid the delivery of contemporary, cost effective and efficient solutions to a range of Clients' issues. As a Senior Ecologist, you will need to use your excellent team-working skills to work from within and provide mentorship to the ecological team, whilst also being able to work independently and manage your own workload.

Requirements

• Essential - Full UK Driving License, CIEEM Membership
• Desirable - Protected Species License(s), ability to hold species mitigation license(s), Ornithological Experience, Experience with BREEAM Ecology Assessments
