Project Delivery Manager

6-month contract

Reading/Solihull/Warrington - Hybrid working

MBNL is a joint venture delivering an outstanding customer experience to EE and Three in support of their business plans and goals.

The Service Transformation and Delivery function of MBNL is responsible for the delivery of a decommissioning programme to power down and decommission a large volume of sites over a short period. The programme is delivered via Managed Service Partners (MSP's), Principal Contractors (PC's) and Small Works Contractors (SWC's) and we are looking for a Delivery Manager to support these activities.

What the Project Delivery Manager can expect to be doing:

• Successful delivery of network site infrastructure to MBNL design and HSQA standards.
• Responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of Suppliers, 3rd parties against contracted time, cost, and quality obligations.
• Undertaking direct intervention to investigate underperformance, instigate recovery initiatives and intensely manage the recovery of delivery performance. Escalating as required.
• Manage Supplier delivery via regular review, meetings, and reporting.
• Highlight potential risks to projects and mitigate, as necessary.
• Seek agreement from stakeholders about site lists, delivery timescales and budgeting as required.
• Management of changes to site lists or specific site requirements

The successful Project Delivery Manager will have:

• A proven ability to drive delivery across organisational departments, and from 3rd party suppliers.
• Demonstrable experience delivering projects to a clear governance structure.
• Good understanding of Telecommunications processes and cross-functional dependencies.
• Knowledge of the numerous functional deliverables (Acquisition, RAN, TX, Deployment).
• Experience of motivating and managing outsource Suppliers.
• Telecommunications deployment experience
• Ability to manage deliveries to governance and processes.
• Experience of significant volume delivery
• Ability to manage project finance and discuss same with Programme and Finance Dept
