We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Supervisor to join our team in Reading.
Who This Job Would Suit:
This role is ideal for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor with a background as a Mechanical Fitter and a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent. The candidate should be adept at interpreting technical drawings, managing installation tasks, and ensuring compliance with rigorous standards. Multi-skilled professionals are highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and engineering standards/procedures
- Follow instructions and quality specifications to complete tasks
- Install and mount equipment such as pumps, motors, and rafts
- Install mechanical joints
- Test systems, including pneumatic and hydrostatic testing
- Work with shield doors or mechanical handling equipment
- Ensure compliance with on-site safety regulations
- Possess a valid Gold CSCS card
- SSSTS
