We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Supervisor to join our team in Reading.

Who This Job Would Suit:

This role is ideal for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor with a background as a Mechanical Fitter and a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent. The candidate should be adept at interpreting technical drawings, managing installation tasks, and ensuring compliance with rigorous standards. Multi-skilled professionals are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and engineering standards/procedures
  • Follow instructions and quality specifications to complete tasks
  • Install and mount equipment such as pumps, motors, and rafts
  • Install mechanical joints
  • Test systems, including pneumatic and hydrostatic testing
  • Work with shield doors or mechanical handling equipment
  • Ensure compliance with on-site safety regulations
  • Possess a valid Gold CSCS card
  • SSSTS
