This Primary School in the Knowsley Area is currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in one of their Reception Classes. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday in which you will be supporting the class teacher delivering the EY curriculum.


Your new role
This is a long-term position and the school want to take someone on who can commit for the full academic year. You will be working in an organised and supportive school.
This position will be starting in September.

Your role will be working under the direction of the class teacher, monitoring pupil's work and using a range of strategies to support their learning.

What you'll need to succeed
You must be a team player who can get on and use your initiative. You must have strong communication skills and be confident in supporting the class teacher by assessing and monitoring children. The ability to liaise with parents and a solid understanding of the foundation stage curriculum is essential.

• You will need to have a Teaching Assisting/Childcare Qualification or equivalent.
• Have refrenceable experience in a primary or nursery setting.
