Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Quality Control Inspector for my client.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical installations and materials comply with UK standards, codes, and specifications.
This role involves conducting detailed inspections, tests, and measurements, as well as preparing comprehensive reports and coordinating with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect mechanical installations and materials to ensure compliance with UK standards, codes, and specifications.
- Conduct tests and measurements on mechanical systems, site-erected tanks, and structural steel installations.
- Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Prepare detailed reports of inspection findings.
- Coordinate with QC managers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- Ensure all safety regulations and quality standards are met.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CSWIP Welding Inspector, EEMUA 159, PCN Level 2 (NDT), ASME/BSI standards, or similar.
- Proven experience in mechanical inspection within industrial construction projects in the UK.
- Familiarity with UK industry standards (BSI, ISO, ASME, etc.) and non-destructive testing methods.
