Senior Maintenance Engineer

Job Purpose:
The Senior Maintenance Engineer is responsible for leading complex maintenance engineering projects, including large global cross-functional and engineering discipline project teams. This role requires an individual with extensive technical experience and expertise in maintenance engineering disciplines, who can translate business objectives into technical programs and demonstrate significant business contributions through technical and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex maintenance engineering projects and develop new ideas with strategic and tactical impact
- Mentor and coach team members in technical areas and Six Sigma projects
- Conduct technical studies, such as safety or reliability studies, and be accountable for results
- Complete multiple phases of engineering work processes, from feasibility to commissioning and start-up
- Promote knowledge development and technical coaching within the team
- Perform RAMS studies from conceptual to detailed design
- Drive reliability and asset health, proposing upgrades or developing new engineering standards
- Lead local or global project teams and measure team performance
- Participate in technical associations and cross-business teams
- Master's degree in Engineering discipline or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline with extensive relevant experience
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred
- Thorough knowledge of legislation and regulations, and of Engineering and Maintenance Practices
