Compliance Manager Stoke on Trent £30,000 - £33,000 Our client who are part of a global organisation are seeking an experienced and dedicated new member of staff in the role Compliance Manager.
The Overall purpose of the Compliance Manager role is to oversee the Compliance Programme, ensuring that the team maintain all parts of the compliance monitoring system and ensure asset certification is up to date and in an accurate condition.
 
Duties to include:
Compliance -
  • Monitoring the organisation’s compliance with regulations and internal policies to ensure they are up to date with the relevant law.
  • Agreeing any compliance changes with stakeholders.
  • Cascading information to the team, including ensuring that they are aware of immediate priorities.
  • Ensuring the team are delivering to SLAs and providing consistent coverage for the client.
  • Coordinate the service, including any ad-hoc access requests.
  • Liaise with the service on Insurance and Warranty information.
  • Identify and communicate supplier/RPM training requirements.
  • Thorough examination of compliance certification and documents for validity and identify remedial actions to be taken.
  • Liaising with suppliers and providing feedback.
  • Reviewing existing uploaded documents on the system to ensure correctness of information and confirmed closure of remedial actions.
 
System Management –
 
  • Permission setting on systems for clients.
  • Clearing items from the compliance Mailbox into the correct folders in a timely manner to meet client Service Level Agreement.
  • Perform regular audits and systematic reviews of any previous documentation, correcting document details where required.
 
System Analysis and Reporting –
 
  • Carrying out gap analysis on the system data and drive continual focus into improving client compliance and accuracy of reporting.
  • Creating compliance status reports for input into amongst other things monthly client reports as required.
  • Creating best practice notes and compliance Power Point slides, for training purposes.
 
In order to be successful in the role of Compliance Manager you will:
 
  • Able to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Be very organised and able to meet tight deadlines when required.
  • Effective communication skills at all levels both within and outside of the organisation.
  • Good analytical skills and familiar with the use of Microsoft Packages, CAFM and Reporting software.
  • A working knowledge of FM compliance and HSE legislation is desirable but not essential.
 
Knowledge and Qualifications
  • Strong compliance knowledge
  • Ideally, we would like you to have; experience of working in a fast-paced environment and previous office administration/ data entry experience would be advantageous.
  • IOSH qualification desirable.
