Logistics Assistant - The Role:

- To supply support to the Responsive Repairs, Voids, Cyclical, Planned and Estate Services Teams

- To provide customer service, process and data support and administration around legislative compliance to include Fire Safety and Electrical Regulations

Logistics Assistant - Key Responsibilities:

- Respond to Fire Door safety checks

- Coordinate Legionella inspections in line with regulations

- Manage Electrical Inspections and Smoke Alarm repairs

- Prepare Legal Injunctions for Electrical Safety Compliance to include Smoke Alarms

- Assist with logistics, scheduling, and trades training

- Communicate with customers on order updates

- Complete annual inventory and support year-end tasks

- Ensure health and safety compliance

- Oversee uniform management and budget

- Assist with raising of fly-tipping works and field crew queries

- Coordinate meetings and assist on KPI

- Manage customer service and administrative tasks

- Compile timesheets for trades operative

Logistics Assistant - You:

- A Level or equivalent (BTEC, NVQ level 3, or relevant experience)

- Knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation (Working at Heights, Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, Fire Safety Regulations)

- Experience in building construction/repairs or equivalent

- Effective team collaboration and independent worker

- Excellent communication skills

- Capacity to handle customer diverse needs

- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines

- Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills

- Strong organisation and administrative skills

Desirable:

- Housing industry experience

- Building/repairs environment experience

- Administrative procedures experience

- Secretarial or business administration qualification

- Logistics environment experience
