If so, our client, an aerospace manufacturer, is recruiting a Buyer on an initial 6-month contract with the possibility of being extended. The role will involve ensuring timely deliveries, mitigating delays, and building strong stakeholder relationships.

Job Description
- Managing order book for multiple suppliers, including raising and amending purchase and scheduled orders.
- Resolving invoice queries, issuing RFQs, and handling pricing changes with appropriate notifications.
- Providing critical updates on delivery status to key internal stakeholders through meetings and escalation files.
- Engaging with various functions outside of supply chain to ensure timely resolution of supply chain issues.
- Proactively mitigating supply chain risks to prevent critical line stops and support new product introduction requirements.

- Prior experience in supply chain or manufacturing planning or purchasing
- Experience of working in supply chain within a manufacturing environment
