We are looking to recruit a Health & Safety Advisor to provide a mobile level of H&S support across our client's southern portfolio. The client are well known organisation within renewable energy, with an established UK portfolio of sites and rich client base, supported by an extensive logistics network.

Across the south of the country they have a series of distribution centres/warehouses critical to the business operation, totalling 15 in total. These sites are not too large, and have a more settled level of risk, so while the travel is regular, the role is manageable for a HSEQ professional used to multi site coverage

To assess and manage the risk present, they are looking to hire this H&S Advisor who will act as the cultural focal point for the regional for all things safety related, working across sites, and forging affective relationships with stakeholders, from warehouse staff to company leaders.

Your job is to champion H&S culture and to ensure staff return home safe at the end of the working day

This is a fantastic role for a developing H&S professional to develop in a challenging site with a range of activities, representing different H&S problems.

Actions will include:

• Maintain the HSEQ management system
• Craft affective relationships with a range of on site stakeholders
• Complete accident investigations and risk assessments across site, from the warehouse, to equipment maintenance centre
• Champion H&S culture and link up with regional HSEQ staff to ensure consistency in approach
• Deliver training sessions
