What will you get up to? (The role)

You will be tasked with the overall responsibility and control of the groups digital estate. You will be vital in protecting and implementing security processes to ensure unauthorised access and activity is detected and denied. Working in collaboration with the IT Operations Director and leading a team of Cyber security professionals you will be defining first-hand the groups cyber strategy.

About you:

• Extensive experience of Cyber Security, ideally you will come from a hands-on technical background.
• Key understanding of application security.
• Experience with of working partnerships with Software development teams
• Experience with EDR/NDR technologies. (Endpoint/Network detection and response)
• Experience with Database tech such as Linux and Ubuntu.
• Clear understanding of Cyber practices on Cloud platforms. Such as AWS or alternative vendors.
• Understanding or working knowledge or Open Source risk management
• Experience working with key stakeholders at all levels of seniority
