GRP Laminator (Marine)

Are you an experienced marine GRP Laminator highly proficient in the preparation of moulds, knowledge of lay-up specifications and gel coat repairs.
If you are, our client needs you for an immediate 6 month contract, which may be extended (or made permanent).
The successful candidate will deliver on-site support to customers facilities in the UK and France, and can expect to be away from home for prolonged periods (generally 2/3 weeks at a time).
Pay Rates
£21.63hr (PAYE) or £29.18hr (Ltd - Umbrella) whilst local.
£32.44hr (PAYE) or £43.77hr (Ltd - Umbrella) whilst on-site
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:
Primary responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
• Preparing moulds ready for gel
• Knowledge and understanding lay-up instructions / specifications
• Preparation and Application of gel coat
• Perform a range of laminating processes
• Use of hand tools
• Identify laminating defects
• Use of core materials and generic bonding pastes
• Release of simple moulds
