My client, a specialist high precision component and machine manufacturer, have a fantastic opportunity for a Despatch/Production Operative.

The Job:
- Process Goods received and registered all items on MRP system.
- Packing and dispatch of parts
- Prepare paperwork for shipping parts internationally.
- Prepare kit bins and assist with packing of goods for delivery.
- Grease and prepare machines for shipping.
- Weight and measure all components for despatch and update shipping records.
- Comfortable using hand tools to make storages boxes for items to be transported.
- FLT duties as required for despatch and receiving goods.
About you:
- Experience of working in a busy goods in/out department, ideally within engineering
- Possess good computer skills and the ability to use an MRP system.
- Experience of wood working equipment to make crates for distribution.
- Good written skills with the ability to consult with other departments.
- Valid FLT licence and competent using hand/pallet truck.
- Excellent organisational skills and the need to maintain a tidy environment.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and cover holidays in the stores area.
