Our client is a leading company specialising in filtration processes, providing critical services to power stations and various industrial sites nationwide. Committed to high standards of quality, health, and safety, they are seeking a dedicated Site Service Manager on a permanent basis to join their team based in Jarrow.
Role:
Manage and deliver on-site services to industrial clients, working with the Technical Director and Principal Engineer. This role involves management and hands-on responsibilities to ensure smooth operation and high service standards.

Role:
Manage and deliver on-site services to industrial clients, working with the Technical Director and Principal Engineer. This role involves management and hands-on responsibilities to ensure smooth operation and high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site and equipment surveys, create drawings, and specifications
- Develop project costings, quotations, and proposals
- Manage and expand subcontractor network
- Plan and complete servicing and projects profitably
- Perform or supervise servicing/maintenance work
- Generate planning schedules, RAMS, reports, and documentation
- Foster strong site relationships and repeat business
- Maintain the company's image on customer sites
- Enhance technical understanding of customer assets
- Maintain records of work, costings, and provide monthly reports
- Ensure training and certification requirements are met
- Manage tools, PPE, equipment, and vehicles
- Occasional UK wide travel with overnight stays
Requirements:
- Proactive attitude with a focus on customer service, quality, health, and safety
- Ability to travel extensively within the UK, with overnight stays and weekend work
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Strong IT skills (Windows 10, Microsoft Office)
- Experience with CAD, mechanical drawings, and process flow diagrams
- Ability to quote jobs using Excel and present quotes using Word
- Capability to manage PPE and consumables
- Understanding of ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards
- Ability to conduct risk assessments
- Strong network of subcontractors
Preferred Background:
- Mechanical or process engineering, mech fitters, facilities managers/engineers, LEV engineers, HVAC
- Experience in power generation, dust control, or HVAC sectors
