About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Agent/Manager to oversee the management of a construction site, ensuring the project meets the required delivery objectives. This role demands a commitment to health and safety standards and cost control while maintaining top-notch quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Management:

• Successfully deliver various projects in the Civils and Water sectors.
• Ensure high-quality work without defects.
• Lead and manage a team of Sub Agents, Engineers, and Foremen to maintain safety and environmental standards.
• Produce and implement Project Plans, RAMS, ITP, and Waste Management Plans in line with company procedures.
• Maximize the commercial performance of the contract.
• Develop and manage the project construction programme, including 2-week look-ahead schedules.
• Coordinate with the procurement department to ensure resource availability.

Person Specification:

Essential:

• Extensive experience in Civil Engineering and as a Site Agent in a regulated environment.
• Proficiency in contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme and Risk Management, and cost control.
• Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• CSCS certification is mandatory.
• IOSH Managing Safely or SMSTS.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in large multidisciplinary Civils Projects, particularly those involving Thames Water, logistics planning, and complex temporary works schemes.
