Job Title: Car Configurator Specialist

Duration: 6 months, extensions likely

Location: Hybrid/Crewe (three times per week requirement in the office)

Salary: £28.38 per hour Limited Company, £22.00 per hour PAYE

Our client, a highly regarded Automotive organisation, is seeking an experienced Car Configurator Specialist to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the day-to-day management of their Car Configurator platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Vehicle Configuration, and Pricing teams to extract relevant information and ensure accurate representation of vehicles in the Car Configurator platforms.
  • Author data logic, product information, and assets to build up vehicles on both Public and Retailer applications.
  • Support new product launches and model year updates by solving logic issues and ensuring accuracy of visual assets.
  • Assist the Product Owner in developing new functionality and user experience enhancements for the platform.
  • Liaise with Product aligned teams to ensure data changes are accurately reflected in the platform.
  • Address any issues or bugs within the platform by coordinating with third-party suppliers.
  • Generate web analytics reports and provide insights on the performance of Public and Retailer applications.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable business experience in the automotive, luxury brand, or equivalent agency-related fields.
  • Experience working with Product Marketing and product description systems.
  • Dealer network interaction experience is desirable.
  • Excellent command of the English language with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactive, independent decision-maker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Enthusiastic, flexible, and able to work well as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and capable of working unsupervised and making informed decisions.
  • Competent budget administration and purchase order coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in German is preferred.
  • Experience with project management in complex situations.
  • Familiarity with web content management systems such as Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Knowledge of image management tools, preferably Adobe Photoshop.
  • Proficiency in web analytics software, ideally Google Analytics.
  • Fully conversant with IT technology and possess good PC skills.
