Business Development Manager 

Southeast Region

Up to £55,000

Ready to drive an increase in new equipment sales values in the Southeast region, contributing to company profitability. This role involves working from home and meeting clients in the field to develop meaningful relationships with key stakeholders, provide accurate sales forecasts, and increase market awareness of entrance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Market Penetration

  • Identify and target high-potential markets and customers within the Southeast region.
  • Develop and communicate a strong value proposition for our entrance solutions.
  • Set and achieve clear, measurable sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Relationship Building

  • Engage with Contractors, Façade Contractors, and End Users through industry events, networking forums, and trade shows.
  • Maintain regular touchpoints with key stakeholders to foster strong relationships.
  • Establish strategic partnerships with industry leaders to expand market reach.

Forecasting and Analytics

  • Utilise CRM and data analytics tools to forecast sales trends and identify opportunities.
  • Provide accurate and timely monthly and weekly sales forecasts.
  • Gather and disseminate market intelligence to anticipate trends and competitor activities.

Marketing and Brand Awareness

  • Design and execute marketing campaigns to increase brand visibility.
  • Develop and deliver CPD presentations, webinars, and other educational content.
  • Enhance online presence through SEO, social media, and targeted advertising.

Technical Support and Site Surveys

  • Conduct comprehensive site surveys to offer tailored solutions to clients.
  • Ensure continuous technical training for the sales team.

Internal Collaboration

  • Coordinate with technical, contractual, and financial teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Establish a feedback loop between sales and product development teams to refine offerings.

Performance Monitoring and Improvement

  • Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Regularly review and adjust strategies based on performance data.

Experience Required:

  • Demonstrated a prolonged period of successful sales results.
  • Experience in selling and specifying technical products.
  • High standard of commercial awareness.
  • Ability to convey technical information precisely.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office applications and CRM systems.
  • Experience in presenting to large groups.
  • ADSA EN16005 certification.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Clean driving licence.
  • Preferably, a good understanding of the Specification & Construction industry.
