Our client is a truly market leading brand with multiple sites in the UK are looking for a Senior Credit Analyst to join their site based in Gaydon Warwickshire – an exciting place to work

We are looking for a Senior Credit Analyst who will work across a high value portfolio – the role is part time 32 hours a week – the client is extremely flexible on how these hours are worked across the week

What you can expect:

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  •          Responsibility for the release of products for invoicing by ensuring an appropriate funding approach exists with available credit (including internal ledger and nominated finance partner funded)
  •          Being part of a team with overall responsibility for collecting over £500m of cash sales annually
  •          Responsible for checking eligibility, creating template files, and funding invoices through the nominated finance partners on a frequent basis to ensure the company maintains a strong cash position, liaising with the relevant partner bank to ensure correct compliance and allocation of funds
  •          Pro-actively contact customers when products are falling due for payment or on any other financial matters which may prevent products in build from being shipped promptly (e.g. lack of credit line)
  •          Responsible for overall customer credit control. Provide statements as necessary and issue 48 hour notices to ensure prompt payment.
  •          Where customer queries exist, facilitate resolution by managing the relevant internal stakeholders (e.g. the aftersales team)
  •          Daily cash allocation of the relevant payments, invoices and credit notes, being responsible for posting all relevant dealer cash
  •          Team-work is critical and whilst there will be specific region(s) owned by individuals, you will also need to be flexible and cover multiple regions during holidays etc.
  •          From time to time, the companies nominated finance partner can change and therefore the winding down of one partner whilst establishing a new process will require good time management skills
  •          Other ad-hoc activities within the Accounts function where an appropriate segregation is required

Qualification & Experience:

  •          Experience within an accounts department and specifically credit control essential
  •          PC literate with a strong grasp of the core elements of Microsoft Excel
  •          Striving for continuous improvement and optimisation
  •          Ability to work effectively as part of a team environment but also demonstrate and use own initiative
