Despatch Assistants

Location: Millom, LA18 4JY

Salary: From £24,200 per annum plus great benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday

At CGP we provide our customers with a first-class product and service. From the second a customer places an order, be it a single book or a pallet-load, we put 100% effort into making every process in our Millom warehouse really slick. It’s all about achieving our main goal — same day despatch.

We’re looking for Despatch Assistants to join the team as we continue to grow.

Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to have lots of drive and stamina (you’ll be on your feet for 8 hour shifts after all!) and be

• Bright and positive
• A hard worker with great teamwork skills
• Numerate and literate with a good eye for detail
• Happy learning to use our packing system

It’s a bonus if you’ve used a pump truck, ped stacker or have a FLT licence already but it’s flexibility that’s key — if you’re the right person, you’ll be keen to do whatever’s needed and be willing to learn new skills.
