HGV Class 1 Flat Bed driver
HGV Class 1 Flat Bed driver required for a position with our well-established client in Preston, Lancashire. This particular company specialises in the nationwide transportation of steel and building products.
Hours
The start time will be between 6am and 7am and the HGV Class 1 Flat Bed driver will work between 45 and 50 hours over a 5 day period.
The Role:
The class 1 driver will be required to work Monday to Friday.
There is an average of 2-3 drops per shift all of which are all located nationally.
All deliveries are on a flatbed vehicle so ratchet strapping/chain strapping experience is essential. This will be an ongoing position for the right candidate.
The HGV Class 1 Flat Bed driver will require:
C+E entitlement on their licence
Previous steel delivery experience
Valid Digital tacho & CPC Card
No more than 6 points on licence
Safety Boots & Hi Viz Vest
Strapping experience is essential for the role
Job Type: Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: £15.75- £16.50 per hour DOE
