253 days - option to extend, if required.
Once in 2 months, either London/Manchester

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in guiding our customers on their journey to cloud and DevOps maturity. Leveraging your expertise in cloud technologies and best practices, you will work closely with tenants to architect, implement, and optimise solutions tailored to their unique needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver exceptional value to our customers.

Essential Criteria:
* Collaborate with colleagues and tenants to assess their current infrastructure, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop tailored cloud and DevOps strategies.
* Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and drive consensus.
* Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-native solutions leveraging industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies
* Develop, maintain and operate complex operational tooling (e.g Observability, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Security, GitOps)
* Knowledge of container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes) and their managed counterparts (e.g., EKS)
* Knowledge of Kubernetes Cluster administration
* Working within a mixed skillset team in an agile, fast-paced working environment
* Troubleshooting issues and breaking engineering requests down into component parts.
* Use Terraform and Terragrunt to deploy, manage, and configure AWS resources and via robust pipelines in GitHub Actions
* Experience working with and resolving high priority incidents

Desirable Criteria:
* Experience using LZA & Control Tower to build out and manage AWS Organisations
* Experience building and maintaining GitHub Actions workflows
* Substantial experience with deploying, managing, and configuring Kubernetes clusters in a public cloud environment, preferably EKS and AWS.
* Experience of implementing high availability strategies including Disaster Recovery and Upgrade procedures for Kubernetes clusters.
* Designing, advising on, and implementing cloud networking principles and security best practices for Public Cloud environments
* Experience of deploying and managing GitOps agents such as ArgoCD and/or Flux to automate cluster bootstrapping
* Experience designing, building and maintaining observability infrastructure (e.g: Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, AWS managed observability solution)
* Collaborating with colleagues and customers to implement observability & SRE best practice
* Design & build FinOps tools to assist the platform and customers with FinOps functionality
