Fawkes and Reece are currently recruiting for a free-lance Site Manager for one of our key clients in Blackburn!

The company strives to deliver its projects to a very high degree across a multitude of sectors including Education, Health, Commercial, Retail & Residential sectors. They are looking for a Site Manager to assist initially on a healthcare project doing variation works and once completed moving onto a education project for holiday cover.

The Role

As a Site Manager you will be managing the staff on site ensuring their daily duties are carried out effectively. The projects you will be working on are Education & Health buildings so previous experience working in restrictive environments such as schools and hospitals will be required.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Deliver projects within time & budget
• Variation works
• Material call offs
• Management of staff ensuring they carry out their duties in accordance with policies and procedures
• Effective Health and Safety Management
• Assist in the achievement of set project targets
• Maintaining quality control checks
• Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise

Required Qualifications/Experience

• Experience working for Main Contractors is preferred
• Experience on hospitals and or colleges will be preferred
• CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness
• 5 years experience in a Site Managers position
• Managed projects ranging from £1m - £5m
