The School and the Role
Vision for Education are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming Primary School in Litherland, Sefton, who are looking to appoint enthusiastic and proactive Teaching Assistants to provide one-to-one support across EYFS & KS1, to students with a range of complex needs. As their designated Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible to support your key student on a one-one basis, working full-time Monday to Friday (08:30-15:30)
You will have access to support and training from school, as well as impressive school resources. In-line with the child's EHCP, you'll play a pivotal role in removing the students' barriers to learning and supporting them to achieve their full potential. You will liase with the SENDCo and work closely with outside agencies to enable the student to progress through the curriculum - strong communication skills will be essential to the role. This role will be starting in September and will continue through to the next academic year to July 2025.

Requirements
The desired Teaching Assistant will have;
- A passion for SEND and experience working with Primary aged children
- Experience providing 1:1 support within an eduation setting
- A positive and creative approach to behaviour and confidence building
- An ability to work as part of a team
- Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
