The School and Role

A dynamic and inclusive primary school in Liverpool is seeking to appoint a part-time KS2 Teacher to join their team. This role is for three days per week and involves a job share arrangement. The successful candidate must be flexible and able to adapt their teaching style to meet the diverse needs of the students.

This position provides an excellent opportunity to work in a school with a high percentage of children with SEND, where experience in supporting and adapting lesson plans for these pupils is highly desirable. The school values the contributions of all staff and is committed to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment for both students and teachers.

The successful candidate will need to:

  • Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to adapt their teaching style to meet the needs of a diverse student population.
  • Have experience supporting children with SEND and adapting lesson plans accordingly.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for KS2.
  • Show commitment to high-quality and effective assessment to ensure all pupils achieve their full potential.
  • Possess excellent organisational and classroom management skills.
  • Work effectively as part of a job share, maintaining clear communication and collaboration with their teaching partner.
  • Be enthusiastic, creative, and up-to-date with recent education research and practices.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.

Requirements

The desired Teacher will have;

  • Hold QTS in the UK
  • Experience of working with primary school aged children
  • A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
  • Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
