Holiday Park General Manager : Stunning caravan/lodge park in idyllic location

Location: Richmond/Catterick/ Wensleydale

Salary: Up to £70,000 (Up to £50,000 basic + £20,000 bonus) + Benefits

*Role would suit an experienced holiday park Deputy Manager looking to take on their first General Manager role*

The Role & Operation:

Stunning high quality holiday park with a range of luxury lodges with 5 star facilities is looking for an experienced General Manager with a proven track record of impeccable guest service & holiday home sales.

Set in a beautiful countryside location with easy access to the stunning beauty of the Yorkshire Dales, the park has a busy restaurant selling fresh locally sourced produce & a bar operation, a children's play area and with miles of stunning countryside, the park is in easy access to well-known country walks, popular tourist attractions, areas of natural beauty, rivers and caves.

The park is owned by a highly successful well-respected company with a stunning portfolio of holiday and lodge parks, each set in stunning locations with a focus on quality and an amazing 5 star guest experience.

***The park is both a holiday park, but also has holiday home ownership so there will be regular repeat business and so the highest standards of guest service are paramount. Previous experience of the caravan/lodge sales business would be a good fit ***

The Candidate:

· MUST have previous experience and a proven track record to at least Deputy Manager level of caravan, lodge or holiday home parks.

· The ability to run a multi-faceted holiday park with luxury lodges

· A commitment to provide the highest standards of customer service.

· The ability to run a multi-faceted operation with an F & B offering.

· Warm & friendly with great communication skills and a calm balanced approach with the ability to form very strong relationships with owners, gaining their trust and respect and ensuring that they are listened to and receive the highest standards of service & care at all times.

· Manage the park and oversee the HODs, including the F & B and kitchen teams to ensure that food & service is always kept to the highest standards & complying with all H & S and food hygiene policies and regulations

· A passion for high quality service, fresh food and great facilities

· The ability to manage and motivate the FOH, housekeeping, sales & F & B team

· Previous experience with a caravan and/or lodge sales environment would be an advantage

· Happy to live in a beautiful part of the country - LIVE-IN is available or live within commuting distance - Richmond, Catterick & Darlington are all commutable.

Salary package: Package of around £70,000 plus numerous benefits & live-in.

Starting salary for this role is a basic of up to around £50,000 plus an achievable bonus of £20k based on KPIs and holiday home sales. There is also live-in accommodation off site for those relocating & the successful candidate will be a driver with their own transport due to the location of the operation.
