Junior Acoustic Consultant

My client are a prominent climate and performance engineering consultancy based in the United Kingdom. Their team consists of specialised professionals equipped to provide customised guidance and solutions for various projects, spanning from small niche endeavours to large-scale industrial undertakings such as stadiums, railway infrastructure, commercial and residential properties, and other expansive structures. Their areas of expertise encompass acoustics, noise and vibration, air quality, and dust management.

Requirements:

• At least one year of practical experience in conducting sound and noise assessments.
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) or a Master of Science (MSc) in acoustic engineering or a related field, coupled with certification from the Institute of Acoustics (IOA).
• Demonstrated proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
• Possession of a valid UK driver's licence.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders across different departments to ensure the timely delivery and successful completion of all project deadlines.
• Compile technical data from assessments and craft comprehensive technical reports for clients.
• Conduct surveys and assessments on noise and vibration using specialized modeling software.
• Ensure that all assessments and remedial advice adhere to and exceed British standards as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain effective communication and cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the project's lifecycle.
