Our client is one of the UK’s leading Main Contractor, with a £20 million turnover known for delivering high-quality projects on time and within the budget, committed to excellence, safety, and innovation within the construction industry and is now looking for a detail-oriented Contracts Manager. As a Contracts Manager you will oversee all aspects of contract management which involves preparing, negotiating, and managing contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring all agreements comply with company policies and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

Develop, review, and negotiate contracts, including agreement, amendments and renewals ensuring contracts are aligned with company policies, codes, and standards.

Oversee compliance with contractual obligations, including performance milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.

Facilitate positive relationships between clients, subcontractors, vendors, and other parties involved in contract negotiations and administration.

Oversee the preparation, review, and execution of contracts and maintain accurate and up-to-date contract documentation and records.

Identify potential risks and issues with contract terms and conditions and develop solutions to reduce/eliminate risks.

Manage resources such as workforce, equipment, and materials including the set up and mobilisation of teams, supporting staff and maintaining harmony in the workplace, contributing to productive team performance.

Check contractors RAMS for approval, tickets records and allocate inductions including approving Benchmarks from contractors.

Proactively attend meetings when necessary, contributing to the best of your knowledge.

Degree in Construction Management or related field.

Proven years of experience as a Contracts Manager within construction.

5+ years’ Main Contractor experience is beneficial.

Fit out/refurbishment experience is beneficial.

CSCS, SMSTS & FIRST Aid Site certifications are essential.

Strong knowledge of construction contract law and industry regulations.

Skilled in negotiation, organisation, and communication.

Proficient in basic computer skills.
