We are looking for a production engineer who has experience in a hands on manufacturing environment.
You will be responsible for the production process from start to finish:
- Receiving client specifications, interpreting them into engineering drawings.
- Implement existing or developing new machining practices
- Streamline the process using Lean tools & techniques to remove waste from the manufacturing process.
- You are responsible for creating & updating customer packages to include FAIR, FPA, PPQ, PLQ, FPR, MCR, DAR.
- Participate in team discussions & meetings. In addition to providing technical support to other departments.
What skills / experience is needed for this role?
- A degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent will be beneficial.
- Knowledge or experience in the practical application of Lean manufacturing
- Crucially for this role you will need a genuine interest precision manufacturing and engineering (aerospace or industrial)
- A real proactive attitude looking to get stuck in, and progress.
