My client is now looking for a talented Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team.
Job Description:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be an integral part of the project management team, ensuring that construction projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of the projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, manage, and monitor project budgets.
- Conduct cost analysis and cost control.
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
- Evaluate and manage risks associated with projects.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Measure and value the work done on site.
- Prepare and submit interim and final valuations.
- Provide advice on contractual claims.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, preferably within civils and build sectors.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Valid UK driving license.
