Technical Sales Manager - £55,000 - £65,000 + DOE + Commission Structure - Dorchester - On site
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Sales Manager, that's passionate about technology and automated solutions to join our Client's growing team of industrial automation specialists, based in the heart of beautiful Dorset! With many years of experience delivering state-of-the-art automated solutions to household name companies and a world-leading reputation, specialising in robotics and aerospace . You will have full, strategic and ongoing management of the sales department and will be responsible for the development and delivery of an ambitious sales strategy for the Company, focused on enhancing profit margins for products and projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a sales management, or similar role with project-based activity within the aerospace/aviation sector
- Experience working with industrial automation/composites programmes from a sales perspective
- Demonstrable success in delivering an effective and profitable sales strategy
- Excellent organisation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build rapport, nurture relationships, and win business through effective sales and pitching techniques
- Outstanding ability to communicate to people at all levels in verbal and written English
- Experienced with supporting bid processes from start to finish, delivering project agreements that are beneficial to both parties
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking ability
- Demonstrable leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
Desirable
- A degree in an engineering-related subject would be highly advantageous
- An understanding of patents and intellectual property law would be beneficial
