Job Summary

We have an opportunity for a part time DAY HYGIENE OPERATIVE to join our specialist team at Florette in Lichfield. You will work within part of our dedicated Hygiene team who maintain a high standard of hygiene across our business over a seven-day, 24-hour operation.

Pay: £12.46 per hour 
Working hours: Mon-Fri, 05:00-10:00 | 25 hours a week

Main Responsibilities

• To Deep Clean specific areas of our business premises in accordance with daily cleaning schedules and Health and Safety and Food safety requirements. 
• Use correct cleaning techniques appropriate to each machine.
• Ensure efficient use of water and cleaning chemicals i.e. dosage.
• To ensure tasks delegated by Hygiene Manager, Supervisor or Team Leader are completed to the required standard, within the required time frame.
• Undertake appropriate refresher training as and when required: eg in Chemical Awareness, Health and Safety, Food Safety, Manual Handling.
• Ensure full compliance with company Health and Safety Policies, Quality Policies and Food Safety Policies.

Skills and Experience Required

The ideal candidate will have received: 

• Chemical Awareness training.
• Food Safety Level 2 desirable.
• Health and Safety Level 2 desirable.
• Previous FMCG experience is desirable but not essential to the role.
