Air Conditioning Installation Engineer – Overview
We are currently working with an established HVAC Contractor based in the Nottinghamshire area who have over 20 years experience of installation, servicing, and maintenance of cooling systems at commercial sites throughout the midlands. They are a 5-star rated company who have a client list of over 1500 sites on which they maintain and install new air conditioning systems. They are looking for an experienced Installation Engineer to join the team, covering sites throughout the Nottingham/Derby area.
As an Installation Engineer, you will travelling to sites throughout Nottingham and Derby area installing VRV’s, VRF’s, Splits and Multi Split systems at light commercial sites such as Schools, Offices, Retail Outlets and many others. The company mainly install Mitsubishi, Daikin and Midea units so if you have experience of these it would be an advantage but not essential as they can give you full training. To assist with the installation, you will also have a Mate working alongside you, making the manual parts of the job slightly easier.
There will occasionally be small amounts of servicing and maintenance in the role, however you will not be expected to be on the OOH on call Rota, this would only be during working hours. Due to this being a mobile role, a full UK licence is required. The company also operates a door to door travel pay scheme, so you will be paid from the minute you get in the van, to the minute you get home.
Air Conditioning Installation Engineer – Requirements
- Experience Installing Air Conditioning Systems including VRV’s, VRF’s, Splits
- F Gas 2079 Cat 1
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Refrigeration experience (desirable but not essential)
- Experience installing Mitsubishi, Daikin and Midea units (desirable but not essential)

- Salary £35,000 - £45,000 (DOE)
