Project Engineer
My client, a leader in providing specialised equipment for various industries including Water, Waste Water, Oil, and Gas, is seeking a Project Engineer. This role is centred around enhancing business processes and fostering collaboration.

You will manage a portfolio of projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently and align with the company's and clients' expectations. Collaborating with customers and subcontractors, you will ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

The responsibilities of the Project Engineer will include:

• Coordinating with vendors as needed and effectively managing their deliverables.
• Ensuring all projects are organised, overseen, and executed efficiently within the set budgets.
• Developing and sustaining crucial customer relationships concerning plans, progress, and issues.
• Cultivating and preserving connections with the Sales teams regarding plans, progress, and issues.
• Providing weekly and monthly revenue income forecasts for the portfolio/projects.
• Ensuring the commercial and contractual aspects of projects are comprehended, planned, and executed.
• Collaborating across the organisation to ensure solutions are suitable and beneficial for both the customer and the company.
• Participating in on-site meetings and conducting site inspections when necessary.
• Managing the Project Team on a daily basis.
• Overseeing personal and team tasks to ensure agreed deadlines are met.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role within engineering.
• Electrically or mechanically qualified to HNC/HND or City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (including 18th Edition).
• Technical background ideally with actuators, valves, associated equipment.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Full driving licence.

What this role offers:

• A salary of £45,000-£50,000 depending on experience.
• 38-hour week with early finish on Fridays.
