My Client are a northern based Main Contractor seeking an experienced Freelance Site Engineer to join our team for an exciting food factory extension project.
The Freelance Site Engineer will be required for a 40 week period and will be a part of the project team from inception to completion.
The Project:
• Overall project is to expand an existing food production facility
• X2 new steel frame buildings linked to existing building but connecting corridors
• All Groundworks, Structures, Internal and External Works with associated Civils
The Role:
• The Freelance Site Engineer will be responsible for all setting out and QA
• Setting up initial control
• Monitoring and checking subcontractor
• Working from and checking drawings
• Producing As-Built surveys
• Attending meetings
• Working closely with Project Manager
The Candidate
• The Freelance Engineer will come from a construction background
• Experience working on Steel Frame Buildings from start to finish
• From a main contractor background
• Fully conversant in the use of robotic setting out equipment and AutoCAD
• A professional and positive attitude / team player
