Description

• Developing, implementing, and maintaining supplier quality procedures and standards
• Identifying process improvements and driving their implementation
• Conducting audits of supplier processes to ensure quality standards are met
• Collaborating with suppliers to identify and resolve quality issues
• Maintaining accurate and timely supplier performance records
• Participating in cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of supplier improvement projects
• Providing technical guidance to suppliers and internal teams

Profile

The successful Supplier Quality Engineer should have:

• Worked in a similar SQE role previously within a manufacturing environment
• Excellent knowledge of quality standards and regulations
• Working knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, 5Y etc
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead improvement initiatives
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
• The ability to travel when required

Job Offer

• £45,000 - £50,000 or hourly equivalent
• Short term (c3months) or long term contract up to 12 months depending on candidate requirements
