Facility supervisor/ Building manager (Senior role)

Our client is looking for a someone who can plan, supervise, and undertake all labour projects in conjunction within the business.

The potential candidate should be enthusiastic who will get stuck into all jobs from fixing sewage systems, repairing fibre connectivity in our offices to building flat roofs. The candidate should be physically fit.

The candidate will be reporting directly to the managing director.

• Undertaking and supervision of all labour roles relating to scheduled, ongoing and planned projects within the business.
• Ownerships of projects upon agreed timescales with management.
• Undertaking all jobs with three other members of the properties and estate team within the business

Skills

A multi skilled tradesperson is critical however our clients’ requirements are:

• Electrical- If the potential candidate has been qualified but not up to date with current regulations that is okay.
• The candidate will need experience with planning to completion of commercial, industrial, and residential projects, this will also apply to maintenance.
• Experience in grounds work through to final fix and finish of a build process.
• Basic brick laying as well as joinery.
• Plumbing
• IT and network Skills
• Ability to create a high quality and professional finish on all jobs with accuracy.

Benefits

• The candidate will be given a company van for COMPANY use to travel between businesses sites as well occasional ad hoc work between the clients housing portfolio in south Manchester.
• Standard holidays.
• Salary will be between £30k- £40k however will be dependent on experience.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Standard 8 hour working day, however Must be available between the hours of 7am – 7pm
