Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager to join our Bridging and Buy-to-Let (BTL) mortgages team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and promoting our products and services across London and the surrounding south counties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within the bridging and BTL mortgages market.
  • Identify and establish relationships with key stakeholders, including mortgage brokers, financial advisors, and property investors.
  • Provide expert advice on our bridging and BTL mortgage products, tailoring solutions to meet the specific needs of clients.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting, marketing, and customer service, to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the mortgage industry, specifically in bridging and BTL mortgages.
  • Strong understanding of the UK mortgage market, including regulatory requirements and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving sales targets.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel within the designated territory.
