Job Summary:
A healthcare provider in Bacup, Lancashire is seeking an experienced and dedicated Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, working autonomously and collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to meet the healthcare needs of the community.

Key Responsibilities:


• Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnose medical conditions, and formulate management plans.
• Provide treatment, advice, and education to patients in accordance with evidence-based practice.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions, ensuring timely follow-up and continuity of care.
• Perform clinical procedures, such as wound care, minor surgery, and interpretation of diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications as necessary, adhering to relevant legislation and guidelines.

Patient Care:

• Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and their families.
• Promote health and wellbeing through education and support.
• Address complex health and social needs, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.

Professional Development:

• Stay current with advances in nursing practice and healthcare.
• Participate in continuous professional development (CPD) and training activities.
• Mentor and support junior nursing staff and students.

Leadership and Management:

• Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Engage in audit, research, and evidence-based practice projects.
• Take a proactive role in managing the practice's performance and achieving targets.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with GPs, consultants, other healthcare providers, and support staff.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
• Foster strong relationships with external organizations and community groups.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin.
• Master's degree in Advanced Practice or equivalent.
• Independent Nurse Prescriber qualification.
• Significant experience working as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
• Strong clinical skills and a comprehensive understanding of primary and urgent care.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
